President:

• Handles union-employer communications, represents the bargaining unit in meetings with the employer and with trustees, and acts as the spokesperson of the bargaining unit

• Coordinates meetings of Teacher Council, the Bargaining Unit Executive and membership meetings as required

• Works with other Time Release Officers on member protection and member discipline issues, performance appraisals, and member-member issues

• Liaises with other bargaining units in the District, and represents the membership at Provincial Council and other Provincial OSSTF meetings

Professional Services Officer:

• Handles discipline, issues of professional judgement and professional practice.

• Executive Liaison for Professional Development Grants and the Professional Development Committee and the Member Engagement Committee

Chief Negotiator:

• Collective Bargaining

• Contract Maintenance- Collective agreement issues such as supervisions and staffing
